La Casita Nueva is a renovated villa on the residential Monte los Almendros near the village Salobreña with stunning sea views from terraces and infinity pool.
The villa has been updated in 2014-2015. The original house (La Casita) has been enlarged and reorganized internally, externally with several sea-facing terraces and a heated infinity pool.
The villa is located in a residential development on the Monte de los Almendros (Mountain of Almonds) in Salobreña, an hour away from Malaga airport. The views from the south-facing terraces, the living room and the master bedroom over Salobreña and the Mediterranean are breath taking. The villa is situated in a quiet street and can be accessed from the rear from another small street. It is only 10 minutes from the beach by car. It is an ideal location to rest and enjoy a relaxed holiday. Exceptionally for a house on a mountain, the entire living area is situated on one single level together with the terrace and the pool. You can take an outdoor shower at the pool area. The living room has two sliding doors overlooking the terrace, pool and Mediterranean. The small compact open plan kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances including induction hob, designer hood, oven, microwave and dishwasher as well as a washing machine. There is also quick WiFi from the glass fiber , smart LED TV and audio system (Sonos).
On the terrace near the living room there is a covered area for the gas barbecue, and ample garden furniture and loungers. There are three bedrooms with en-suite facilities. One has a bath with shower, the other two have showers. The master bedroom’s bathroom has a rain shower. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and are equipped with double beds. There are hairdryers in each bathroom. There is central air conditioning with heating and cooling capability ensuring that the internal temperature always remains comfortable. Although this region, called “Costa Tropical” has about 320 days of sunshine a year, the summers are never extremely hot, unlike the interior of Andalucía. Even in winter, the average temperature is around 18 degrees,which is warmer than the rest of the Costa de Sol. During winter the ski slopes are within easy access by car – approximately one hour. Uniquely for Europe, you can ski in the morning at "Sol y Nieve” which has 100 km of pistes and in the afternoon you can eat calamari on the beach! To the left of the house there is a young little tropical garden with a palm tree and some fruit trees such as lemon and oranges. On the terrace one can enjoy the views to the Mediterranean from inside the jacuzzi. An extra shower is nearby. In the evening this garden can be beautifully illuminated. The villa is adapted to a maximum of six people ( ideal 4 adults + 2 kids ). Pets are not allowed. A car is essential and there are two off street parking spaces to the rear near the entrance-gate as well as a garage for one car on the main street.
