This charming property for two people is located in the hinterland of Salobreña five kilometres from the beach among rolling hills and tropical orchards. The house has recently undergone a complete renovation and has been appropriately named as “La Peñita”, which means “the little rock”. It has a private swimming pool (5.30 x 3.30 m), a partially covered terrace with table and chairs and a large orchard of approximately 800 m² with a large variety of tropical fruit trees. Depending on the time of year, you can enjoy freshly picked oranges, mangoes, avocados, lemons and pomegranates, while its secluded location offers peace and privacy throughout your stay.

The living room/kitchen annex has French doors which open out onto the terrace with swimming pool area. This newly-refurbished kitchen is fully-equipped with a induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A staircase, with authentic Spanish terracotta tiles, provides access to the master bedroom and the bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed and a sink, while the bathroom is equipped with a toilet, bidet and walk-in shower. On this level you will also find the washing machine and dryer and doors opening onto a small terrace.

Instead of a TV, the house comes with a piano, which you can use to your heart's content. It also has WIFI.

Casa La Peñita is ideal for those who want to escape the stress of modern life for a while and unwind in a serene natural environment. Should you want to be more active, beautiful walking and cycling tracks are directly accessible from the house, while the beach, restaurants and shops are a mere five-minute drive away. The Sierra Nevada ski resort, which also offers great hiking and cycling, is just 75 minutes away. Golf lovers can enjoy a course set right on the beach 10 minutes away. The picturesque mountain villages of Las Alpujarras are easily accessible, as are the beautiful cities of Granada, with its world-famous Alhambra Palace, and Málaga with its charming old town, cathedral and Picasso Museum.

Salobreña benefits from the subtropical microclimate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of over 20 degrees Celsius. For those interested in sightseeing, architecture and history, this region offers the best of Andalusia. You will be charmed by the beauty of the region and its small, whitewashed villages perched on hilltops, tropical nature, sounds of flamenco and of course the abundance and variety of Spanish food.

The airports of Malaga, Granada or Almeria are approximately an hour's drive and are easily accessible.

Salobreña, dazzling and white, is situated in the very heart of the Costa Tropical, in the South of Spain. Adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea and only a one hour drive from Malaga International Airport. The landscape is made up of agricultural valleys and rugged mountains which descend abruptly into sea. This creates attractive open beaches and more importantly, beautiful hillside locations for our villas, offering marvelous views of the Mediterranean Sea!

Salobreña’s striking architecture is an impressive sight. Whitewashed houses are scattered across a small mountain, dominated by a beautiful Moorish castle, 110 meters above sea level and beautifully illuminated at night. Salobreña and its beaches are only a ten minute drive away from our villas, and most of our villas do not only have marvelous sea views, but also a georgous view of this little white town.
