The architecture of this beautiful, modern villa allows the light overflow the inside seamlessly from the sunny outside. The villa has white marble floors and has the most beautiful views towards the Mediterranean Sea, the snowy mountains of Sierra Nevada and the picturesque village of Salobreña with the 13th century Moorish castle built on the top of a rock. This castle is lit up at night so your view will become even better.  Villa Dorda faces the south, so you can enjoy the Spanish sun the entire day from sunrise until sunset.  It also has a private heated pool and a spacious, partly covered terrace so you can relax in both the sun and shade. A bathroom is adjacent to the terrace. The villa has an elevator and it is completely wheelchair accessible.

 

The spacious, modern decorated living room has a comfortable seating area, WIFI and a widescreen TV with a vast number of European and international channels. The open kitchen with cooking island is provided with more than enough equipment, so you can prepare the best Spanish dishes.  Additionally, you will be able to cook on the modern barbeque in the terrace. After dinner, you can enjoy the sunset sitting at the outside table drinking the finest wines Spain has to offer...

 

On the same floor as the living room, kitchen and terrace, the master bedroom with a king-size bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) is located. A lovely bathroom is adjacent to the master bedroom. This roomy bedroom with en suite bathroom is suitable for people in a wheelchair. On this floor, another bedroom is located with a double bed and a separate bathroom. The laundry room with washing machine and dryer are also located on this floor.

 

By using the stairs or elevator you can reach the downstairs floor in which four spacious double bedrooms, all of them with en suite bathroom and large fitted wardrobes, are located. Two of the four bedrooms are provided with a king size bed and the other two are twin bedded rooms. All bathrooms have a double-sink and a comfortable rain shower. Besides this, all bedrooms give access through big glass sliding doors to a terrace which surrounds this floor. From this terrace, you can enjoy the sun and the astonishing view on the Mediterranean Sea, but if you prefer to sleep in, you can keep the automatic operational dimming blinds closed and enjoy your hard-earned rest.

 

All rooms are provided with both hot and cold air conditioning.

 

Parking is available on site.

 

Off season you can choose to rent the complete villa, but it is also possible to rent four bedrooms at reduced rates.

 

Villa Dorada is located on the very nice hillside urbanization Monte de los Almendros. The recreational area of this urbanization is on walking distance. Guests have complimentary use of the communal tennis court, paddle court, large pool, children pool, football pitch and playground and a snack bar during the summer months.

 

The beach, restaurants and shops are less than a 10 minute drive away. There is easy access to Malaga, Granada or Almeria airport. If you can prise to get away from this marvelous villa, there are lots of things to see and to do: the ski area of Sierra Nevada where you can also enjoy great walking and hiking is less than 75 minutes away, so you can ski during the morning (from December to April) and relax on the beach or at the pool in the afternoon. There is a golf course 10 minutes away that is located right on the beach. The picturesque mountain villages of Las Alpujarras are nearby as well as the wonderful cities of Granada with the world famous Alhambra Palaces and Malaga with its historic downtown, the cathedral and the Picasso museum.

 

Salobreña benefits from the subtropical microclimate with over 300 days of sunshine a year and average temperature of over 20 degrees Celsius. For those interested in sightseeing art, architecture and history, this region offers the best of what Andalusia provides. You will be charmed and overwhelmed by the beauty of the region. Small white washed villages on the top of the hills, tropical nature, sounds of flamenco and of course the richness and variety of the Spanish food.

Dear Robert and Dora! We sincerely congratulate you to your Swiss architect and wish that also we had that kind of personal friend! We have spent two wonderful weeks in this lovely planned and designed villa and are leaving back to Sweden with very good memories. Salobreña

Salobreña, dazzling and white, is situated in the very heart of the Costa Tropical, in the South of Spain. Adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea and only a one hour drive from Malaga International Airport. The landscape is made up of agricultural valleys and rugged mountains which descend abruptly into sea. This creates attractive open beaches and more importantly, beautiful hillside locations for our villas, offering marvelous views of the Mediterranean Sea!

Salobreña’s striking architecture is an impressive sight. Whitewashed houses are scattered across a small mountain, dominated by a beautiful Moorish castle, 110 meters above sea level and beautifully illuminated at night. Salobreña and its beaches are only a ten minute drive away from our villas, and most of our villas do not only have marvelous sea views, but also a georgous view of this little white town.

Changeover day: SATURDAY (In low season depending on booking calendar.)

  • The transaction costs, which the bank charges for transactions from non-EU countries, are passed on to the customer.
  • Rates are for up to 12 people. 50 euro supplement per week for each additional guest. 
  • Electricity of the villa is included.
  • Pool heating is optional and will be charged separately.
  • The costs for pool heating up to 28 degrees are:

October 1st to April 30th: 175 euros per week

May 1st to September 30th: 125 euros per week

The costs for heating from 28 degrees are 25 euros per degree per week
