The southeast-facing, white-coloured villa features sleek design and plenty of windows, allowing residents to fully enjoy the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, the picturesque white village of Salobreña with its impressive Moorish castle which is illuminated at night, and the snow-covered Sierra Nevada mountains in winter.

Villa Royal has four bedrooms, all suitable for double occupancy. There is also a sofa bed, allowing the villa to accommodate ten guests. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The heated infinity pool (12 x 4.5 m) is perfect for swimming and relaxation. The villa is suitable for people with limited mobility and those using a wheelchair. Upon request, a safety gate for small children can be placed around the pool.

At Villa Royal, you can reach the front door with your car and enter the villa without any steps. Upon entering the villa, you'll notice how spacious and bright it is. The hallway leads to a large open living room with a glass facade spanning the entire width and a high ceiling, offering you a breathtaking panoramic view. There is a modern seating area with a TV and a fireplace for winter evenings. The integrated, modern kitchen features a kitchen island and all the necessary appliances to prepare a delicious dinner. The island has several bar stools where you can sit to keep the chef company while enjoying the sea view. There are both indoor and outdoor dining tables. The villa has WIFI and satellite TV with a wide range of European and international channels.

Through the sliding doors, the living room has direct access to the spacious terrace with the heated infinity pool and an outdoor shower. On the terrace, there are lounge sofas and sun loungers where you can enjoy the sun and the beautiful view for hours. During the summer months, the sunshades and umbrellas provide plenty of shade. At the spacious dining table for ten people, you can enjoy delicious meals until the early hours, prepared on the large gas barbecue. You can also relax by playing a game of table tennis on the full-size outdoor table tennis table located on the terrace.

There are two large bedrooms with king-size beds (1.80 x 2.00 m) and two additional bedrooms, each with two single beds; one of each type of bedroom per floor. One of the large bedrooms has a sofa bed, allowing the house to accommodate ten guests. Each room has a well-equipped bathroom with a walk-in rain shower; two bathrooms also have a bathtub. Glass sliding doors provide access to the terraces, and from the bed, each bedroom offers a spectacular view of the surroundings. Waking up in this villa is amazing!

The entire villa has central hot and cold air conditioning, which can be controlled individually per room. There is also a washing machine and dryer available. There is an indoor garage for two cars. Since the ground floor of the villa is accessible by car and two bedrooms, the living room/kitchen, and the terrace with the pool are located on the ground floor, the villa is ideal for people with limited mobility and wheelchair users. Villa Royal is located on the beautiful hill Monte de los Almendros. The community recreational area is within walking distance and guests can use the communal tennis court, paddle tennis court, football field, and playground without charge. During the summer months, the large communal swimming pool, children's pool, and a small snack bar are also open.

The beach, restaurants, and shops are less than a ten-minute drive away. The airports of Malaga, Granada, or Almeria are all easily accessible. If you can tear yourself away from this beautiful villa, there are plenty of things to see and do: the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, where you can also enjoy great hiking, is less than 75 minutes away, so you can ski in the morning (from December to April) and relax on the beach or by the pool in the afternoon. There is a golf course a ten-minute drive away right by the beach. The picturesque mountain villages of Las Alpujarras are nearby, as well as the beautiful cities of Granada with the world-famous Alhambra palaces and Malaga with its historic city centre, cathedral, and Picasso Museum.

Salobreña benefits from a subtropical microclimate with over 300 days of sun per year and an average temperature of over 20 degrees Celsius. For those interested in sightseeing, architecture, and history, this region offers the best of Andalusia. You will be charmed by the beauty of the region. WOW! What can I say, except we were privileged to stay at villa Royal as the first guests! Absolutely stunning, modern villa with views to match. We're enjoyed wandering around Salobrena old town and going for tapas and a well deserved drink at restaurant Pesetas. We also enjoyed many al fresco breakfasts and lunches outside on the terrace, along with BBQ's every night. El Penon on the beach was fantastic for lunch: highly recommend the chargrilled octopus! Hope to come back to villa Royal in the future for a relaxing luxury stay!

Salobreña, dazzling and white, is situated in the very heart of the Costa Tropical, in the South of Spain. Adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea and only a one hour drive from Malaga International Airport. The landscape is made up of agricultural valleys and rugged mountains which descend abruptly into sea. This creates attractive open beaches and more importantly, beautiful hillside locations for our villas, offering marvelous views of the Mediterranean Sea!

Salobreña’s striking architecture is an impressive sight. Whitewashed houses are scattered across a small mountain, dominated by a beautiful Moorish castle, 110 meters above sea level and beautifully illuminated at night. Salobreña and its beaches are only a ten minute drive away from our villas, and most of our villas do not only have marvelous sea views, but also a georgous view of this little white town.


Changeover day: FRIDAY (In low season depending on booking calendar.)

  • The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival or in cash upon arrival, if a credit card guarantee is provided 8 weeks in advance.
  • A security deposit of 500 euros is payable on arrival via credit card. 
  • There is a 1% surcharge for debit and credit card payments.
  • The transaction costs, which the bank charges for transactions from non-EU countries, are passed on to the customer.
  • Rates are for up to 8 people. 50 euro supplement per week for each additional guest. 
  • Electricity of the villa is included.
  • Pool heating is optional and will be charged separately.
  • The costs for pool heating up to 28 degrees are:

October 1st to April 30th: 175 euros per week

May 1st to September 30th: 125 euros per week

The costs for heating from 28 degrees are 25 euros per degree per week
