Villa Verde

This brand new, luxurious villa was completed in May 2015. It has a wonderful, contemporary design and features flexible accommodation so it can comfortably sleep up to 15 people, not counting children that sleep in cots, between its 9 bedrooms, all which have en suite bathrooms, wonderful views, very comfortable beds, access to either a terrace or garden, satellite tv, a desk and built-in wardrobe. The villa has been designed in such a way that it is perfectly equipped to cater to large groups (ideal for family reunions, retreats, conferences or theme holidays such as cooking or art classes) yet it is still perfect for a couple of 2 or for a smaller family that want luxury. Parts of the villa can be closed off so you will in no way feel ´lost´ in the house. The price of the villa varies according to the occupancy. The villa has hot and cold air conditioning and WIFI internet access throughout.

This spectacular villa was built to a very high standard and it features an enormous (20 meters long by 4 meters wide), heated infinity pool, which has an automatic, solar cover. With the push of a button, the cover unwinds and then you can enjoy a nice swim in this infinity pool that has built-in steps for easy access. This pool will always be warmer than a normal pool since it is clad in black mosaic tile so it attracts the sun rays. It also creates a wonderful effect as the pool and sea appear to merge together. Additionally, since the cover is solar, it heats the pool on its own at no cost (when it is on the pool); plus there is a backup pool heater so that we can guarantee you a warm pool all year. This villa also has a hot tub and sauna in the garden. You can enjoy amazing views to the sea, the Moorish castle and beach front of Salobrena, which are illuminated at night, and the mountains from throughout the villa and from the terraces and the garden. 

If you enjoy cooking, then you will love this villa as it is equipped for a chef or actually for multiple chefs that can cook together simultaneously without disturbing each other. This kitchen has 2 ceramic hobs, 2 ovens, a warming oven, 3 sinks (one for cleaning, one for food preparation and one in the coffee/tea corner), 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves, one large fridge/freezer, 2 under the counter refrigerators and plenty of counter space/work tops so you prepare meals for large groups or even for cooking classes and you can also have a place to serve food buffet style. The owners have designed this villa with great care and attention to detail. As you would expect, there is a sufficient amount of quality cook and dishware. There are 2 gas barbeques.

The main dining area has a table and chairs for 10 and is part of the kitchen. It can either be connected to the living room or closed off by large pocket doors for those times when you need separation between the 2 areas. The dining area opens onto the pool terrace, and this part of the pool terrace has a retractable awning so you can enjoy alfresco meals in the sun or in the shade depending on what you fancy. When the awning is closed, it also keeps the house cool. This part of the terrace can be closed off from the pool area making it a safe area for children to play (provided that the sliding glass doors in the living room are closed). This means you can enjoy a meal outside and not have to worry about young children getting into the pool area. 

The living room features high ceilings and is divided into 2 areas. One area is the secondary dining area, where there is another table that can seat 10. This table can also be used for conferences or business meetings. There is a TV right near it so you can use it for presentations or for video conferences. In the sitting room part of the living room, there are comfortable sofas that are set around another TV and the fireplace. This TV has premium channels in addition to the basic satellite channels, and there is a Blue Ray player. The living area opens onto the pool terrace and this portion of the pool terrace has another retractable awning so again you can choose between sun or shade and you can keep the house cool. You will just love the breathtaking views over the pool to the sea and the Moorish castle that can be enjoyed from inside the villa. It doesn´t get better than this!

The layout of the villa is as follows. On the entry level, there is a large hall that gives access to (i) the guest toilet, (ii) the living area where we find the kitchen, dining and living area, (iii) the left wing of the villa, where there are 3 en suite bedrooms (1 with a fixed 180 x 200 cm bed and 2 with two 90 x 200 cm beds that can be placed side by side or separated), (iv) the right wing of the villa, where are there are an additional 3 en suite bedrooms (2 with a fixed 180 x 200 cm bed and 1 with two 90 x 200 cm beds), (v) steps that lead down to the lower level and (vi) steps that lead up to the suite. The lower level has 2 additional en suite bedrooms (both with two 90 x 200 cm beds), the laundry area where you will find a washer, tumble dryer, a sink for hand washing etc. and a fully tiled garage, which is used as a gym instead of for parking. The gym has a walking machine, a step/ski machine, a pilatus ball and bodybuilding/muscle building and a music system. There is access from the gym to the sauna and hot tub in the garden. On the upper level, there is a suite which has a bedroom area with an 180 x 200 cm bed), a luxurious en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate bathtub, a dressing room, a sitting area, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette and three immense terraces from which you can enjoy stunning views. You can choose the terrace that best suits you depending on what view you want to enjoy, on the time of day and if you want sun or shade. The kitchenette has a sink, a small dishwasher, a refrigerator, a two ring cooker, a microwave, counter space, coffee machine so it is ideal for having breakfast or a simple meal when you want a break from being with the rest of the group. 

This magnificent villa is located on a very nice hillside urbanization that overlooks the charming town of Salobreña and the Mediterranean sea. In the communal area of the urbranisation, there is a large pool, children´s pool, tennis court, paddle court, football pitch, playground and a snack bar where you can enjoy meals and drinks from 11.30 am to 8 or 10 pm at night during part of the year. This is a short walk away from the villa. The beach, restaurants and shops are less than a 10 minute drive away. There is easy access to Malaga, Granada or Almeria airport. The ski area of Sierra Nevada, where you can also enjoy great walking and hiking, is less than 75 minutes away so you can ski during the morning and relax on the beach or at the pool in the afternoon. The picturesque mountain villages of the Las Alpujarras are nearby as well as the wonderful cities of Granada and Malaga. If you can manage to pull yourself away from the villa, there is lots to see and do in the area.
